Deductibles Plus
A lump sum equal to R500.00 (out-of-hospital) or R1,000.00 (in-hospital)
following an event that requires the following surgical procedures:
- Arthroscopy, Bunion surgery, Capsule endoscopy & Cataract
surgery,
- Colonoscopy (incl. Sigmoidoscopy) & Conservative back
and neck treatment (incl. traction and spinal cord injection)
- Cystoscopy & Diseases of the conjunctiva
- Functional nasal and sinus procedures, Gastroscopy &
Haemorrhoidectomy
- Hysterectomy (not applicable to pre-operatively diagnosed
cancer)
- Hysteroscopy , Joint replacements, Laparoscopy & Laryngoscopy
- Nissen fundoplication (reflux surgery) & Oesphageal motility
studies
- Removal of skin lesions (incl. nail surgery) & Spinal
(back and neck) surgery
- Treatments of headaches & Varicose vein surgery
