This product was designed for scheme options
that calculate the payment of in-hospital treatment and procedures
at less than 400% of the NHRPL.
TARIFF GAP will cover the difference
between the chosen cover level and the cost (Limited to 400% of
the TARIFF) for all defined in-hospital treatment and procedures.
COVER LEVEL CHOICES
TARIFF 100 – provides a lump sum
equal to the difference between TARIFF* & cost
TARIFF 125 – provides a lump sum
equal to the difference between 1.25 times TARIFF* & cost
TARIFF 150 – provides a lump sum
equal to the difference between 1.5 times TARIFF* & cost
TARIFF 200 – provides a lump sum
equal to the difference between 2 times TARIFF* & cost
TARIFF 300 – provides a lump sum
equal to the difference between 3 times TARIFF* & cost
NB: The lump sum id limited to
an amount not exceeding 300% of TARIFF.
* TARIFF is defined as a rate equal to NHRPL.
